About LiveScript
LiveScript is a SaaS for transcribing video and audio - built first and foremost for live streams, where the transcript has to exist while the stream is still running, not an hour after it ends.
What we built
Recorded video is a solved problem. Live is not. If you care about what is being said on a stream right now - a press conference, an earnings call, a match, a breaking-news broadcast - your options were to sit through all of it or miss it.
LiveScript takes a stream URL and starts producing text within seconds. Every line is timestamped and searchable the moment it lands, so you can ask "when was this mentioned?" of a stream that hasn't ended yet. Set a keyword and we'll tell you the moment it's spoken.
It started with prediction-market traders, who need to know what was said before the clip goes around. It turns out the same problem belongs to journalists, analysts, sports followers, and anyone who joined a stream late and needs the first forty minutes in text.

Watch a stream for the words that matter to you and get notified the moment they're spoken, even if you're not watching.
Multilingual
Spoken language is detected automatically, so a stream in Spanish or Japanese transcribes without you configuring anything.
Uploads and past videos
Drop in an audio or video file, or point us at a finished YouTube video, and get the same searchable transcript.
API, MCP, and a Chrome extension
Pull transcripts programmatically, wire them into Claude over MCP, or capture any tab that plays audio from the browser.
